More About Who I am and Why
I Love Some of My Favs.

I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I'm meant to be, this is me

Hi there! My name is Ginny-Dee and I am a wife, mother, daughter, photographer, and crocheter. My husband, Domenic (Dom), and I got married in 2009 and we currently live in Massachusetts. We have four children. Let me introduce them to you. Let’s start with our youngest, Lucas who is 4 years old. He is our little red-haired blue-eyed monster…wait… I mean baby. Next, we have Michael, who is 13 years old and has always been full of so much energy.  Moving on to our 15-year-old daughter, Briana our freshman in high school, who is sometimes too smart for her own good. Our oldest is Gianna, who is 17 and will be graduating from high school this year. Although I didn’t give birth to Gianna, I am incredibly blessed to call her my daughter since she was around 2 years old.

Photographer Ginny-Dee is fairly new. I have always loved to take pictures but up until recently just took them for fun. Most of the pictures I take are from family trips hiking and exploring new places. We explored a lot of places in Massachusetts — including some wildlife sanctuaries, Apple farms, and zoos. It is a nice way to get us all out of the house and away from electronics at least for a little while.  Also a great way for my kids to expel some of their excess energy that they never seem to run out of. I love taking photos of flowers and nature but some of my favorite subjects for pictures are my dogs. I know you thought I was gonna say my kids although I do love capturing my kids in photos and cherish every one they let me take. They are at the age where they are like Mom don’t take my picture (Teenagers right?!). My dogs can’t speak so they are much easier to take pictures of, … well not so much when they are all together.

Crocheter Ginny-Dee has been around for a while. My Nana tried to teach me a long time ago but I didn’t want to take the time to sit and learn. (What I wouldn’t do now just to sit with her and be able to crochet.) My mom tried to teach me how to knit but I just couldn’t get it. So I once again picked up a crochet hook watched some YouTube videos and finished what my grandmother started. In the end, it turned out that I  enjoyed crocheting and I was somewhat good at it. I learned that it was a good hobby to have when all my friends started to have babies and I was able to whip together some baby blankets or some cute little mermaid tails.

Rescue, love, care, and repeat

This is why we can't have nice things...

These cuties are some of our rescues that we have adopted. Starting on the left and working our way to the right – Cooper, Bullet, Reese, and Willow. We adopted them from different rescues and they have brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. Each of them has their own unique personality, this picture is a good representation of it too! We love them all.
